The Intergovernmental Agreement of the Turk Stream Project between the Russian Federation and Turkey was published in the Official Gazette no.29910 dated 24th of December 2016 and entered into force.
In accordance with Intergovernmental Agreement, two pipelines each having a capacity of 15.75 bcm per annum will be constructed and one of them will be connected to national transmission network system while the other pipeline will transport the transit gas to Europe. The offshore component of the system Start from Anapa in Russia and ending in Kıyıköy/Kırklareli and consists of two lines with a length of 930 km and a diameter of 32 inches. The construction of these lines for the Black Sea transition of the project was completed on 19 November 2018. With the completion of the construction of the terminal and pipelines carried out on land, it is planned to supply gas from these lines as of the beginning of 2020.
