The Groundbreaking Ceremony of the TANAP Gas Pipeline was realized with the presence of the President of the Republic of Turkey, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and President of the Republic of Georgia on 17 March 2015, in Selim, Kars.
On 12 June 2018, the inauguration of the TANAP – Eskişehir Natural Gas Connection Line Project which is conducted to connect TANAP to BOTAŞ transmission system was held in Eskişehir thereby its construction was completed. The release of delivery of 6 bcm natural gas to supply Turkey started by integrating Phase-0 on 30 June 2018.
As Phase -1 of Eskişehir-Edirne/İpsala line is on the way, the project is planned to be completed in 2019.
