The afforestation activities in the BOTAŞ Tuz Gölü (Salt Lake) Operation Directorate are carried out in coordination with the Forestry Directorate of Aksaray, within the framework of the protocol signed between BOTAŞ and the General Directorate of Forestry. In the first stage, eleven different types of saplings were planted in 9,46 ha area of the expropriated area of the BOTAŞ Tuz Gölü Operation Directorate, and 3,11 km of barbed wire was removed from the animals for protection. Within the scope of the project 650 cedar, 550 pine pine, 500 m.servi, 990 almonds, 1.053 spindles, 900 pieces, 350 pieces of oak, 350 pieces of sofas, 740 pieces of ash, 900 pieces of y.akasya, 900 pieces (Atriplex) salt bush et al. about 8000 seedlings were planted. The project is evaluated as a pilot project and in line with the results to be obtained, the project is planned for the afforestation of the expropriated area approximately 150 ha in size suitable for afforestation. When all phases of the project are completed, 100,000 trees will be planted.
