BOTAŞ Petroleum Pipeline Corporation complies with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Law and related regulations by considering OHS as a basic human right. In 2001, BOTAŞ, as the first public body, initiate the required procedure to establish OHS Management System. Consequently, TS 18001 OHS Management System has been established in our corporation to provide a safe and healthy workplace for its employees and all related parties, and to improve productivity. TS 18001 OHS Management System has been established in three stages, the history of establishment of the OHS Management System is provided below:

• 2002 - BOTAŞ General Management, Ceyhan Petroleum Operations District Management and Dörtyol Operations Management,
• 2007 - Natural Gas Operations District Management, and its subordinates,
• 2008 - Marmara Ereğlisi LNG Operations Management

OHS Management System of BOTAS is inspected by TSE every year and the certificate of OHS Management System is renewed in every 3 years.
